Canucks Autism Network, in partnership with the Jays Care Foundation invite children and youth living with autism for a fun day of baseball! Come learn about the core life skills inherent to baseball, including: teamwork, communication, determination, resiliency, inclusion, support and courage. Challenger Baseball ensures every athlete has the opportunity to play in a fun and safe environment where they learn to become more independent, build confidence, improve their communication skills, and set and achieve their own personal goals.
CAN Membership is not required.
This event is open to all individuals with autism over 6 years.
If you are, or you know someone who might be interested in playing baseball, this is a great way to try it out in a safe and fun environment! Supported by Canucks Autism Network staff, Jays Care coaches will provide a 90-minute baseball lesson to introduce players to basic baseball skills.
