SOBC Nanaimo hosted the Region 6 5-pin Invitational bowling tournament on Sunday January 27. Altogether, 32 teams and 160 bowlers came from locals in Victoria, Cowichan Valley, Nanaimo, Pt. Alberni, Oceanside, Comox Valley, Campbell River and Powell River. A good time was had by all. Thanks to staff at Brechin Lanes, the lane volunteers and Nanaimo’s head coach, Jacky Sheng, for making it a success.

The 2019 SOBC Winter Provincial Games will be taking place in Vernon from February 22-23 and many athletes and coaches from our local will be attending. For all of the games information and to keep up to date please visit the games site at SOBC Winter Games. |

Bad Weather Reminder
We want to remind everyone about our winter weather policy. If there’s snow or icy conditions, Special Olympics is a No Go! We want everyone to remember safety first when the weather is poor. |

Spring Coaches Meeting
A meeting for coaches in Spring sports is scheduled for Wednesday, April 3rd, Room 8 at Beban Park Social Centre from 7-9pm. All head and assistant coaches welcome. Reminders emails to follow. |
