| Congratulations to Special Olympics Nanaimo coach and volunteer Angela Behn who has been named the Special Olympics Canada Female Coach of the Year! This is a tremendous achievement and very deserved for Angela who has given countless hours in support of Special Olympics, the athletes and other coaches.
Angela has previously been awarded provincial coaching awards and has helped many athletes achieve medals at regional, provincial, national and world levels.
