The Special Olympics Nanaimo annual meeting will take place on Thursday, July 7 at 6:30pm at the Beban Park Social Centre. All parents, caregivers, volunteers, athletes and supporters of Special Olympics are welcome to attend.

The local committee is looking for more volunteers for the upcoming year. If you’re interested in attending one meeting a month and supporting our athletes and volunteers we would love to hear from you. The local committee consists of these volunteer roles:

Local Coordinator, Program Coordinator, Treasurer, Fundraiser, Volunteer Coordinator, Registrar, Event Coordinator, Secretary and Parent/Caregiver Liaison.
